Flexible configuration

WOW Appraisal is easily configured for different performance management approaches (e.g. balanced scorecard, performance contracts, behavioural standards or deliverables per position). We prefer to harness and build on the strengths of your existing performance culture than to replace it with a textbook alternative.

People-centric approach

WOW Appraisal improves the performance conversations between managers and employees. It ensures these conversations take place in a structured way at least twice per year. Feedback is balanced, transparent and relevant, making it easier to deal with “uncomfortable topics”. Training for managers and employees on how to conduct performance conversations is a crucial part of the process.

Balanced measures

WOW Appraisal supports both “hard” and “soft” measures of performance. Some positions might incorporate quantitative targets (e.g. sales indicators), while others may be more initiative or outcome based. The system enables these to be assessed without the need for complex system integration.

360 degree appraisals

Certain criteria are best assessed by the people working with (or reporting to) an employee. It is hard for a manager to judge whether a subordinate works well in a team or communicates effectively. WOW Appraisal allows multiple assessments for each employee (e.g. peers, subordinates, clients and partners).

Easy access to performance information

WOW Appraisal provides an electronic repository for people performance documents. Employees can access their current and historical appraisals at any time by logging into the system. Manager can view results for their subordinates, enabling them to identify trends over time.

Powerful consolidated reporting

WOW Appraisal provides powerful consolidated reporting for managers and HR. These are used variously as input to remuneration decisions, talent management, development planning and succession. They also allow measurement biases to be identified and addressed.

Web-based service

WOW Appraisal is provided as a web-based service. Your employees access to the system via the internet. They can contact us by email or telephone for assistance if required. Our team looks after the technology and data, ensuring the highest levels of security and confidentiality.

Quick to implement

WOW Appraisal takes 12 weeks to implement for the first time – much quicker than traditional enterprise solutions. Thereafter, appraisal runs typically take 4-6 weeks depending on the organisation.
