| What is the purpose of the module? |
This module allows you to display details of events on your website. This module has a calendar display, making it easier for your visitors to view upcoming events based on when date. |
| What are the key benefits of the module? |
- This module gives website visitors a quick and easy method to view upcoming events.

| What type of pages would normally have the module? |
- Home, Intermediate or Content pages. Depending on how important the events are, you would have it higher or lower in your website hierarchy. E.g.
- If you are a training company that offers various events per week and you want people to register for the events, you will probably have the events calendar on your home page as well as on an intermediate page called Training Schedule
- On the other hand, if training is only one of the services you offer, then the calendar might be on a page called Training (under the intermediate page called services). The Events Calendar will then share the page with other content (probably in Text/HTML modules) that will explain what types of training you offer.
- When the website visitor clicks on the event within the Events Calendar, it will show the person details of the event.

Content Pane: The Events Calendar displays, like a calendar, seven days next to each other. If you allow for content to be written in each of the calendar blocks, the module itself takes up a lot of space. |
